We currently have more opportunities to tutor in-person than online. If you are located in one of our hubs, please consider changing your preference to 'face to face tutoring' or 'interested in both' to increase your chances of finding a suitable space.
Please note: Our sessions run for one hour on weekdays between 8am and 4:30pm, most commonly before and after school hours.

Page 3 of 4 - References

As part of our safeguarding policies we need to collect two references for each volunteer. Please share the contact details of two individuals who can act as your reference. These should be professional contacts or trusted members of your community (for example a university lecturer or teacher, coach or activity leader).

We will only request a reference from them after you have attended training with us. This is normally 1-2 weeks after you submit your application, so there will be time for you to notify them before we reach out.

The reference form will be short and easy for them to complete. If you'd like to change one or both of your referees after you submit your form, please email hello@actiontutoring.org.uk. Unfortunately we can only accept email addresses, not telephone numbers.
