Mentor Details

We'd recommend using a personal email address as your employer's filters could prevent our emails getting through.

We'd like to know who you're representing – eg. name of your company or organisation. If you don't work for anyone (lucky you!), simply leave blank.

We would only share this if applicable and requested.

Let us know what's the best postcode for where you want to mentor – it could be closer to home or work. If you're only interested in virtual mentoring, you can let us know later in the form.

Participating as a student/young person, not as a mentor or team lead.

Only select yes if it was issued within the last 3 years. For safeguarding purposes, most organisations will require that you have one before mentoring. But don't worry – we'll include details about how to obtain a free check in your welcome email.

While we welcome mentors of all ages, there are minimum age requirements for obtaining a DBS check and volunteering in some organisations.

Team Details

For those who were assigned a team last year, you can continue to work with them if you would like, or find a new team.

Select the school or group you're mentoring for 2022-23.

Not every team will require constant support, but ideally all mentors would commit at least 30 mins per week.

We'd love to see all mentors working with a team nearby, but there may be limitations due to location and school circumstances. Mentors who opt out of in-person mentoring can still support a team virtually.

PLEASE NOTE! We will be using your details to populate a map where teams can reach out to you. If you opt out and don't already have a team, you will need to find a team to mentor independently.

If you don't have a team yet, this will feature on your profile in the pairing map. If you already have a team, we'll keep it safe within our mentor records.
