I. Introduction
As part of the Ashoka family, we trust you to use your best judgment when performing your duties at Ashoka, which includes using any Technology Resources (as defined below). This policy (this “Policy”) sets forth the standard guidelines, procedures and policies for the use of the Technology Resources for Ashoka, a District of Columbia nonprofit corporation with its global office located at 1700 North Moore Street, Suite 2000, Arlington, Virginia 22209, and for its affiliated country offices, branch offices, chapters or subsidiaries (collectively, “Ashoka”). This includes the use of any telecommunications equipment, computer equipment, software applications and the network communications resources that facilitate the exchange of information provided by Ashoka for the use of Authorized Users, whether such use takes place at Ashoka’s global office or at a remote location. This Policy provides Ashoka a balance between service and protection and is intended to provide clear guidance to all Authorized Users regarding the appropriate use of its Technology Resources. As used herein, the terms “us,” “we” and “our” shall refer to Ashoka. As our Technology Resources continue to grow and evolve over time, we may change this Policy from time-to-time as necessary to meet new circumstances.
It is your responsibility to read and understand this Policy and to periodically check for updates to this Policy, which will be posted on the policies section on Ashoka’s internal online resource, “The Ashoka Wheel,” accessible at wheel.ashoka.org.
We shall make all reasonable efforts to notify Authorized Users (as defined below) of any material changes to this Policy within a reasonable amount of time. Your comments, suggestions, questions and/or feedback are always welcome. Please send them to TechSupport@ashoka.org.
