Not Eligible

Thank you for taking the time to consider a Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation grant application.

Unfortunately, your responses indicate that your organisation, you, or your plans do not fit our eligibility criteria so we will not accept an application.  To be fair and transparent for all applicants, we apply our eligibility criteria strictly and cannot change them for your circumstances. If you are a new group in the process of setting up a constitution or committee or opening a bank account and would like to discuss making an application please call us.

If you are a local voluntary group you may find information on other sources of grants through our e-bulletin (sign up here: ) or from the national database www.myfundingcentral.co.uk.  Funding advice  is available from Wessex Community Action or Voluntary Action Swindon.

If you need further advice on safeguarding you can find further guidance here

If your circumstances change and you feel an application would now be eligible, you may wish to contact us first on applications@wiltshirecf.org.uk

Thank you for confirming you are eligible to apply for a PCC Community Action Fund Grant. The application form questions are below.

Please enter without spaces

Please provide a date in the format DD/MM/YYYY. If the exact date is not known, please select best guess.

How many? What skills or experience do they have? How do people join the committee? How involved are all the committee members in running the organisation?

If beneficiaries come from several places, just select one. If this is too difficult, use your organisation's postcode, but only if you are based in Wiltshire or Swindon. Please only enter a UK postcode in this field.

We would like to understand exactly what you intend to do so we can get a good overview of what the project/service/activity will deliver and how. Try to cover key details such as what you will provide, where, when, how often, who will be involved etc.

This should be your identifiable beneficiaries e.g. group members, activity participants and any other immediate beneficiaries such as family members or carers. You can input a number up to 5000. If you think it will be higher, please include this in your response to the next question.

We want to see that you have researched the need and consulted with local people, especially those who will benefit from your project/activity/service to ensure that what you plan to provide is necessary and appropriate. If you work with any other organisations to meet local needs, you could include more information here.

Tell us about the methods you use to gauge whether you are meeting the needs you set out to address. This doesn't have to be anything complicated; we just want to know that you are checking your project/activity/service is effective and is providing what people want/need. Including direct quotes from people you have supported in the past can help to illustrate this.

We want to see that your organisation has the appropriate skills and capacity to run the project successfully, especially if this will be a new area of work for you.

You will be asked to attach a copy of your Safeguarding Policy at the end of this form. Use this answer to give us an overview of your approach to safety and safeguarding and how you put your policy into practice.

We are thinking in particular (but not exclusively) about the 'protected characteristics' outlined in the Equalities Act 2010: age, gender, race, religion or belief, disability, sex, gender reassignment, pregnancy & maternity, marriage or civil partnership.

We use this to check the financial health of the organisation in relation to the size and scope of the services provided e.g. a very small organisation that is volunteer led is likely to have fewer overheads and require less reserves than a larger organisation which leases a building and/or employs several staff. This information also helps to confirm whether the organisation needs the amount being applied for.

If you are asking us to fund some of your running costs, for instance, what is the total you need for running costs each year? If you are asking us to contribute towards an event, project or activity, what are the total costs? Please enter the amount with no spaces, comma or £ sign.

You can apply for up to £5,000 for 1 year. Please enter the amount with no spaces, comma or £ sign.

We would like to see a simple plan of how much money you expect to spend this year and what you will spend it on.

We use this to check your bank details.
