The plans you have to obtain the resources you need. This is terribly important, because to be successful you must have the boldness to raise funds from others. How are you going to fund you project?

By completing, signing and submitting this application you certify that you are planning activities that satisfy the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. You further certify that you will abide by the policies, actions and conditions set forth by Congressional District Programs, Inc. (“CDP”) and its Board of Directors, as these policies, etc. may be amended from time to time. You acknowledge that you have been afforded ample time to consult with an attorney, a CPA, and/or a financial advisor in connection with this application. You have made a decision to advance certain religious, scientific, educational or charitable purposes outlined below with a full awareness of how these programs are administered by CDP in accordance with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Contributions to CDP are absolute and irrevocable unconditional contributions, which are not subject to any restrictions and not subject to any control by anyone other than CDP. No person has any right or entitlement to income from funds or property contributed to CDP. If these guidelines are not followed, CDP reserves the right to sever its relationship with you and to terminate the program. The ownership, custody and control of any donated funds and property are fully relinquished to Congressional District Programs, Inc. All investments and disbursements are solely the responsibility of CDP and the decision of its Board is final. Applicant certifies that neither funds nor property belonging to the applicant, nor any member of his or her family, nor funds from any corporation, trust, partnership, limited liability company or any other entity in which the applicant or such persons described above alone or together own more than a 35% ownership/beneficial interest, nor funds from any other “disqualified persons” described in section 4958 (f)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code, nor funds presently allocated or in the future to be allocated to any foundation or charity related to applicant or any of the foregoing persons be contributed to CDP for this program. No person by reason of donations to CDP to support this program shall have or expect to have any advisory rights, privileges or authority with regard to the distribution or investment of the funds allocated to this program. Moreover, no donor has any power to appoint any person with any
such advisory rights.
