Criteria for the Western Academy Membership Award:

To have been a participant in the affairs of the Western Region (or, until the year 2013, of a combination of the Western and the former Northwest or Southwest regions) for a minimum of five (5) years
Has made a significant and meaningful contributions over a number of years to the cumulative knowledge and stature of the Human Resource profession
An acknowledged leader in the Human Resource profession in higher education
