Thank you for registering for GlobeMed's second annual 5K Run for HOPE!  Proceeds from this race will help GlobeMed at Northwestern reach our goal of raising $10,000 to build and staff a pathology lab at our partner organization, the HOPE Center in Ho, Ghana.  This campaign will make a direct impact on people's lives by reducing the burden of infectious diseases and increasing access to health care through expanded diagnostic facilities in this rural community.

Important details:

When-Saturday, Nov. 1st

Where-Northwestern University lakefront.  Check-in booth will be on the East Lawn of the Norris Univeristy Center (see map)

Time-9:00am check-in.  Race begins at 9:30

Cost-$10 pre-registration, $15 day-of registration.  Please have either cash or a check made out to Northwestern University ready on race day. 

Prize packages will be awarded to the top two male and female finishers, and post-race refreshments will be provided for all!

As a participant in the GlobeMed 5K Run for HOPE on Novembe 1, 2008, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages, or loss that I may sustain. 

I do hereby fully release and discharge Northwestern University, its officers, agents, and employees from any and all claims of injuries, damages, or loss that may accrue to me on account of my participation in the GlobeMed 5K Run for HOPE. 

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Northwestern University and its officers, agents, and employees from injuries, damages, and loss sustained by me and arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with my participation in the GlobeMed 5K Run for HOPE.
