The heart is the centerpiece of the servant’s relationship with his or her Creator.  If it is sound, the relationship is sound.  If it is corrupt, the relationship is corrupt. Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an: “Successful indeed is he who purifies it.  And completely ruined is he who defiles it.”  In this workshop series we will examine the importance of the life of the heart; the means by which we can attain true spiritual rectitude; some of the key diseases that obstruct our path and how to begin to remove them; and what living the life of a spiritual aspirant on the path to the Hereafter entails.
